GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The General Assembly is the highest organ of GIMUN. Its tasks and responsibilities are all those that are not expressly attributed to another organ by the GIMUN statutes; including for instance:

To define the measures that must be implemented in order to reach the goals defined under art. 4

To elect the Board and the auditors

To set contribution amounts

To approve the executive report of the Board and grant discharge

to approve the accounts presented by the treasurer and grant discharge

to approve the report from the auditors and grant discharge
-
To declare the exclusion of a member in accordance to art. 9
-
To modify the statutes
-
To declare the dissolution of the association.
The General Assembly meets at least once a year when convened by the Board, generally 4 to 8 weeks after the closing ceremony of the Annual Conference.
BECOME A PART OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
To join the General Assembly, an applicant has to be a university student and demonstrate an interest in the activities of the association. Furthermore, they have to share the values of the association, have previously demonstrated substantial engagement in the activities of the NGO and have the necessary availability.

New members’ request must be addressed in writing to the Executive Board at least 7 days before the annual General Assembly or an extraordinary General Assembly. Members are admitted by absolute majority of members who attend or are represented in the General Assembly.
