WHO ARE WE?

Geneva International Model United Nations (GIMUN) is a non-governmental organisation with special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations based in Geneva. Run entirely by students, its aim is to promote the ideals and principles of the United Nations by giving students the chance to participate in educational events.

WHAT DO WE DO?

GIMUN organises a wide range of events throughout the year, such as UN Day, the Annual Conference and various study trips and visits. These events serve as a platform for students to discuss current international affairs, the role of the United Nations and its values as well as to put into practice the debating and negotiation skills they develop through our delegation department's regular MUN sessions.
