The Graduate Institute in Geneva is the principal partner of the GIMUN Association. From its very beginning, the Graduate Institute and the GIMUN Association have shared a close level of cooperation. The GIMUN Association has, during its 10 year existence, actively promoted the Graduate Institute as a hub for students in international relations. The Graduate Institute, in turn, has offered important financial contributions to the GIMUN Association. Furthermore, it has assured logistical support such as the use of classrooms, essentiel ifrastructure and its network. The headquarters of the Graduate Institute also include the office of the GIMUN Association. |

The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Dwitzerland has been supporting the cause of GIMUN by sponsoring its activities for many years. Furthermore, the FDFA grants access to its networking and the GIMUN benefits from a patronage of the Federal Counselor heading the FDFA. |

Since the beginning of GIMUN, the United Nations has cooperated intimately with the association on different levels. The UN has provided GIMUN with logistical support such as access to its infrastructure, in particular the use of rooms at the Palace of Nations in Geneva. Since 2007, GIMUN, as an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC, has gained access to the network of other UN-accredited NGOs. Recently, the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) has shown interest in the work of GIMUN and offers an avenue of close collaboration to GIMUN in matters that pertain to the mobilisation of youth for official UN activities. |

The University of Geneva has long been another important base for staff recruitment. Through its increasing support, both financially and logistically, it is already a crucial partner for GIMUN and its development. In 2010, GIMUN was officially accredited by the University of Geneva, strengthening the partnership and providing the association with a number of benefits with regard to reaching out to university students. |

The UN Youth Network Switzerland (JUNES) association brings together students who organize activities related to the UN. Their goal is to educate youth to the United Nations and to promote the exchange of ideas between various regional organizations. |

The European Model United Nations Network was founded on the initiative of the GIMUN Association in 2008. It is a network of Model United Nations Organizations (MUNs). EMUNNET does not only serve as an important platform of exchange between different MUNs but also promoted the goals of GIMUN to a larger public. |

The Hans Wilsdorf Foundation is a private foundation under Swiss law, based in Carouge. It is the exclusive owner of the Rolex group. The Foundation allocates donations to several charities and associations, included GIMUN. |

The Swiss National Youth Council is the umbrella organization of about 65 youth organizations in Switzerland and represents their interests in the public arena. The SNYC offers services to its members and ensures a transfer of knowledge. The organization works for the interests of the young generation both on national and international levels. |
