Sébastien Miazza – President of Pro Natura Genève

Sébastien Miazza is senior Project Manager with more than 10 years of experience in managing projects in various sectors and different fields of expertise. He has extensive experience with International Organizations and NGOs. After studying science at the University of Geneva and specializing in Environmental Engineering at the EPFL, Mr. Miazza obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2006. With his background, he decided to combine scientific experience with management skills and his passion for environmental conservation and joined Pro Natura in 2000. He is now president of Pro Natura Geneva, but also works as a Project Manager at the “Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève” (HUG)

Pro Natura is an association advocating for environmental protection in Switzerland. It was created in 1909 and Pro Natura Genève was created in 1928. With more than 120 000 members in Switzerland and 7 000 in Geneva, Pro Natura is among the biggest and oldest Swiss association acting for the environment. Their goals are: environmental protection, conservation of rural landscapes, creation and maintenance of natural reserve, raising public awareness.
