Pauline is one of our Secretaries-General for this 20th Annual Conference. She is 21 and comes from a really tiny village in France, not far from the Swiss boarder. She has just got her Bachelor in International Relations at the University of Geneva and she is now an intern at the World Intellectual Property Organization. She has always been interested in international politics, organisations, history, languages and world news, and that is why she has come to Geneva, the center of international relations. But the real reason why she came to Geneva, is to fulfil her biggest dream: working at the United Nations and becoming a diplomat!
Pauline stepped in the MUN world in 2014, when she participated in her first MUN conference in Falun, Sweden. This conference awoken her huge love that she has for MUN conferences, and since then she has participated in multiple conferences, whether it was at the high school level with Simul’ONU, or at the academic level with GIMUN or OxiMUN. But her best MUN experiences will remain the ones that she has the chance to live with GIMUN, whether as a delegate, an ambassador, or the Secretary-General!
Indeed, it is now her fourth year here in Geneva, and it has been four years now that she got engaged in this wonderful organisation that is GIMUN! She was one of Secretaries-General of our last year’s edition, and she has decided to come back this year so as to organise this amazing 20th edition of our Annual Conference!
