I was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland. For my studies I moved to Geneva where I am currently a student in International Relations. As a major in my studies I chose history as I am absolutely fascinated by how the world is linked and how different actors have a different impact on the policies that shape our world. History is perfect to understand how different actions lead us to the present day which enables, in my opinion, a broader understanding of today’s politics.
My interest for MUN was already sparked back in High School where we participated in some conferences. My interest in diplomacy, the UN and international affairs in general kept me in the world of MUN and lead my now after two years of involvement in GIMUN as a journalist, delegate, chair, head delegate to being the president of this wonderful association. I sincerely hope that GIMUN can be a life changer for you as it has been for me.
