Aurélie Sadiki

Assistant USG

Born in Geneva in 1991, I completed compulsory schooling in the city of Calvin. In 2010, after graduating from high school, I began the BA in Multilingual Communication of the University of Geneva and got my degree in September 2013. My growing interest in languages encouraged me to pursue this path. I therefore began the Master of Arts in Specialized Translation offered by the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting with the following language combination: French (active language), English and Italian (passive languages). After graduating, I decided to move to Madrid (Spain) to learn the beautiful language of Cervantes. I had planned to live there for only a year, but stayed six months more, during which I worked as a project manager in a translation agency. I am now back in my home town and at the University of Geneva, where I have just begun the Complementary Certificate in Translation to add Spanish to my language combination. During my studies, I’ve had the chance to live and study, during a few months, in Canada and Italy, where I developed a deep interest in foreign cultures. I am truly happy to be part of the GIMUN Team this year and I am looking forward to meeting people from different backgrounds and origins.
