MUN Delegation consists of weekly meetings for beginners and experienced MUNers. The main purpose of our MUN delegation is to promote further understanding of the United Nations Organisation, international issues, and the global community. MUN Delegation allows young students to participate in Model United Nations Conferences both in Switzerland and all around the world, such as the GIMUN Annual Conference at the Palais des Nations.
By participating in our weekly meetings, the delegates will become familiar with the procedures and mechanisms of such conferences, and gain knowledge, confidence and the necessary skills to actively participate in Model UN meetings of any size.
For the fall semester and at the end of a six weeks training, the GIMUN delegation will have the opportunity to attend OXIMUN (Oxford International Model United Nations), a three days MUN conference held in the halls of Oxford’s historic colleges, in the United Kingdom. Internationally renewed for its high quality of debate and the overall delegate experience, this occasion will be the perfect chance to put into practice your skills as a delegate. As a member of the GIMUN delegation, you will be exempted from paying the participation fees of the conference!
For the summer semester, after six weeks of training, the GIMUN delegation will have the chance to participate in an MUN conference at an international level. This is the perfect occasion to practice your aptitudes. As a member of the GIMUN delegation, you will be exempted from paying the participation fees of the conference!
