GIMUN goes MILMUN (Milan International Model United Nations)
When: 6.5.07 - 11.5.07 What: Networking and GIMUN-Promotion Who: Flladina Dibra, Marco Daniel, Kaspar Paur, Daniel Walter, Dominik Knieriemen
Having neither the money nor the school performances for enjoying a whole week in Milan, we had no other choice but to limit our visit on the last two days of the conference. Arriving at the Palazzo Clerici (location of the conference) we felt like coming home though – the majority of the students participating in the MILMUN looked very familiar from the GIMUN-Conference which had taken place one month earlier.
We used the short time to visit the different councils and exchange experiences and ideas with the MILMUN board. The quality of the committees and the fun-factor of the social events left us deeply impressed - and exhausted.
At the closing ceremony we were given the opportunity to introduce the GIMUN to the new-entered MUNers – for this and for their great hospitality I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the MILMUN-board!
Even though relationships between brothers not always seem to work out – this one does definitely!
